MAY WE FIND OUT WHO WE TRULY ARE DURING THIS 2014 LENTEN SEASON!

Today is Shrove Monday … the day before Ash Wednesday. Traditional religions have observed the Lenten Season as a time to repent from sins and to sacrifice as part of that repentance.
This 2014 Lenten Season, may we move forward in our understanding of who we truly are. We incarnated on Earth to grow spiritually thru experiencing the challenges of duality–to learn how to live in attunement with Universal Laws. The Greek word commonly translated “sin” means “to miss the mark, to make a mistake.” (http://www.biblestudytools.com/lexicons/greek/nas/hamartia.html) The learning process innnately includes making mistakes. To make a mistake does not make us a bad individual.
The concept of “sin” has been grossly misused by religions as a means to teach all kinds of lies to the people. One of the most personally harmful repercussions has been to prevent people from learning who they truly are.
In John 10:34, Jesus taught–speaking to the men preparing to stone him to death–“Is it not written in your law, ‘I said,YOU ARE GODS?” Jesus is quoting his own writing during his lifetime as Asaph in Psalm 82:6 … “I say, ‘YOU ARE GODS, CHILDREN OF THE MOST HIGH, ALL OF YOU; nevertheless you shall die like mortals, and fall like any prince.” WHY will many die like mortals? Because – “They have neither knowledge nor understanding, they walk around in darkness….” (Psalm 82:5)
If Jesus taught “would-be murderers” that YOU ARE GODS, then religions have it all wrong … YOU ARE NOT SINNERS BOUND FOR HELL (which is not biblical as a place of eternal punishment). WE ARE ALL GODS … ATTEMPTING TO REMEMBER/LEARN HOW TO “BE WHO WE TRULY ARE”!
JESUS INCARNATED TO SHOW US THE WAY TO BECOME THE GODS THAT WE ARE.
MAY THIS LENTEN SEASON BE THE TIME WE REMEMBER AND BEGIN OUR EDUCATIONAL JOURNEY BACK TO BEING WHO WE TRULY ARE!
